Skelli's sound as a producer astonishes. His throne in production could never be competed for, as his ability to multiply the atmosphere of any sound is masterful. The pockets of time Skelli creates within his sound consistently keeps listeners craving more. With one of the widest sound ranges to pick from, everything from his signature hi-hats to his gate-kept 808s refuse to escape your brain. The reputation and style Skelli has created over the years is nothing short of commendable. It speaks to why progression is one of our favorite measures of success, and Skelli's catalogue captivates on all fronts. The development in quality of sound is clear when comparing his early work to more recent projects. Growing up in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and as part of the Debarge family, many experiences and situations cultivated his outlook on life and music. When it came to artistry, he knew he wanted a position that created the stage, rather than being at the forefront of it.

The Satori tapes host some of Skelli's favorite work. Everything, from curation of the cover art to the order of the tracklist, holds meaning and purpose. Several revisions and enhancements were made until the project was deemed ready for delivery. Once you press play, it becomes obvious that there is a method to his operation. The smooth start in production and delivery by Skelli and Smoove Dinero set the atmosphere for the tape perfectly. Follow-up by Slime Dollaz and Fled1k contributed to the strength and admiration of the project. Our favorites come in at #3 with Sunoco Dro - Commas, #1eviani - You, #10 1eviani - Heaven Interlude. These favorites stem from Skellard's ability to paint a picture full of color, depth, and detail all through sound. The accompanying vocals allow you to flow back and forth in listening to the production and lyrics with immense ease.

This 16-track tape highlights Skelli's unlimited creativity and substantial attention to detail. This massive project stimulates every region of the brain in some way. The various sounds and cadences found in this project can only be provided and executed by Skelli. With another stellar intro in track #1 Lil Tony - Perplexing, Skelli and Fuxkjaybandz knock production out of the park with sounds that teleport you into another dimension. Tracks #4, #6, and #8 demonstrate his ability to set that stage through production alone, leaving a world of space for Grimeysl, Boofpaxkmooky, and B9inee on their respective tracks. On a deeper note, Skelli attributes some of his childhood experiences with video games to his ability to create such transcendental sounds. This influence is widely evident in earlier projects, such as Ego Death ++.
LLBA // Long Live Billy Angel
This 4 track tribute EP speaks to Skelli and Billy Angel's shared vision and cohesive creation. The versatility within the tape was a major catalyst for its success and recognition. By understanding that the tape was released in 2022, we can map Skelli's growth through experimentation and experience to catapult him into the position he sits in today. #4 on the project, Billy Angel - dead friends, is a widely regarded favorite. It seems like the perfect embodiment of their relationship in a musical form. Billy was able to share his experiences and insights through his words. However, a perfectly set stage by Skelli, who once again paved a way with impeccable production, allowed for heavy experiences to be understood in a new light.

With placements and a credit list many can only dream of, Skelli is in no rush to step into his spot on the stage. His mindset, ability to articulate his creativity, and overall ambition prove that he plays a revolutionary role within music. Everything he does creatively comes with in-depth planning, multiple reviews, and internal intuition. Everything down to the cover art holds meaning, but one that can be interpreted in more ways than one and not a rigid frame of perception. The credit list is only going to increase in reputation and length. More importantly, he will be able to share his unwavering creativity, experiences, and thoughts forevermore through art.
