          Baby Cal is starting to position himself as one of the most compelling names in music. Coming out of Cleveland, Ohio, his refreshing sound and cadence separate him from many other artists within his city, nationally, and even internationally. With his single ‘On 1,’ he redefines limits, transforming a Toronto Hip-Hop classic from Drake into something arguably more compelling. From the music to the visuals, Baby Cal provides an experience that blends seamlessly into daily routine. In fact, it makes it way better. Every play cements your attachment to his creativity, forming an addictive bond through music. Cal’s musical evolution has been exponential, and his climb towards acclaim shows no signs of slowing.  

No Days Off

This three track EP puts Baby Cal’s range in the spotlight. Each song isolates itself in energy and presentation, yet all have Cal’s unique and undeniable fingerprint of style. Our favorite part about the EP is its ability to be played in any order. Due to his versatility and selection in sound, Baby Cal is able to deliver and completely satisfy listeners of this EP with every single song. In a time where short projects struggle for recognition, this one is already beginning to stand the test of time with only three songs. Cal’s rising momentum elevates this EP, leaving fans both fulfilled and in anticipation for more. 

Perfect Timing

 Unbelievable. That is the first word that comes to mind when this project comes on. Everything about this release from Baby Cal is thrilling. The production and flow on songs like ‘Where You At’ give this EP immense replay value as the songs will never escape your mind. If you open up the topic of features, appearances from Mobtied4l, Backend4p, Scantantt, and CVM Tae Tae solidify the impact of this tape. ‘Kick the cup’ displays even more of the addicting sounds many fans are falling in love with. His delivery is consistent and has an aspect of invitation in its relaxed presentation. The best way to describe this tape is without a doubt love at first sight. All it takes is one interaction with this album for it to be in your life forever. This tape is one of the best benchmarks we have for what is to come from Cal, and if this is a benchmark we are excited for the future.

Projections

Building on Cal’s momentum, his catalog is steadily attracting new listeners at a rapid pace. His videos continue to attract new eyes daily as he builds on top of his stream counts. The attention to detail is precise. His projects continue to grow organically in reach which is a testament to good music always prevailing. As more videos are released and albums come out we are positive Baby Cal will be a household name in the future.  The mass appeal ingrained in his sound is finding its audience and his network within music is growing rapidly. We genuinely have our post notifications turned on for Baby Cal and are hoping for more videos and another project in the near future.
